I believe the most meaningful portraits come from understanding not only what your pet looks like, but who they are — their personality, expressions, little habits, and the unique details that make them feel so loved and familiar to you.
The Process:
Through conversations, reference photos, and videos, I aim to create more than just a drawing. My goal is to create a piece that truly captures the presence and spirit of your pet in a way that feels personal, timeless, and deeply meaningful to the people who know and love them most. Once we have discussed the vision, materials, and details of the piece together, I will begin creating your pet's custom portrait.
Each portrait is carefully hand-drawn on white or brown mixed-media paper using black ballpoint pen, with touches of white pen or pencil added to enhance depth, texture, and fine detail. Most portraits are created in a 9" × 12" format, though additional sizing options are available upon request and are outlined below in the pricing table. Pricing varies depending on the size and complexity of the piece, as well as shipping costs.
